The school holidays have started, and we want you to make the most of this time! This blog is about planning ahead, spending time together, and why we should get in touch with nature!

    Plan Ahead

Are you afraid of another school holiday hearing “I’m bored” from your little ones? Well to limit these cries it’s best to plan ahead of time and have some things booked before the holidays begin. Children love structure and they love to have things to keep them excited.

    Stay Together

Although it can be hard to pull our kids away from their phones or gaming consoles, it is important to make sure that you can all squeeze in some collective family time. It’s the memories that are made together as a family that you will all cherish later in life. So, stick together and remember to take some family photos!

    Head Outside!

Many of us spend most of our work life inside, and so do our children. The school holidays are the perfect time to get outside and go for a bushwalk, head to the beach with friends or even catch some butterflies! People that are more in touch with nature tend to feel less anxious and stressed – an ideal outcome after a holiday! So head outside with the kids these holidays!

The school holidays are the best times to create family memories. One day your children will grow up, move out and sending them on their way with happy memories from their school holidays will be comforting for them…and you! So, remember to take the time look back on the time you’ve spent, what was the funniest moment? Where did you go, and who did you see? Even if only for a minute, make time for reflection.
