Financial Accountant

Pared is currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for its Corporate Services Group,
based in Dural. This role is vital in ensuring the integrity of Pared’s internal and external financial
reporting as well as working collaboratively with various school departments in a business partnering
capacity.

Working in a small and collaborative team of finance professionals, you will be responsible
for:

  • Completion of monthly accruals, general journals and perform key Balance sheet
    reconciliations.
  • Conduct a busy Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices as
    required.
  • Manage corporate credit card reconciliation process.
  • Assisting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with the production of monthly management
    reporting.
  • Assist the CFO with certain tasks with regards to Compliance obligations such as external
    audits, Financial Questionnaire, ACNC returns.
  • Assist with process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, proactively
    identifying improvements to benefit the organization.

To be considered suitable for this role, you will require:

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Working history within a not-for-profit organization and preferably experience within the
    education sector.
  • CPA/CA qualifications
  • Advanced user in ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP; Advanced MS Office,
    particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to leverage your financial management and operational analysis skills in influencing
    critical business decisions.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and process improvement and efficiency.
  • An independent self-starter attitude with the capacity to work efficiently within a team.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure delivery of projects on time.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check.
